VoltAI Privacy Policy
Effective October 11, 2026
The short version: VoltAI has no accounts. Your profile, scan results, plans, and saved recipes stay on your phone. When you use an AI feature, the photos and details it needs are sent securely to be analyzed, the result is sent back to your phone, and we don't store your photos or results on our servers. We don't sell your data, show ads, or track you across apps.
Information stored on your device
VoltAI stores the following on your iPhone only:
- Your onboarding answers: name (optional), birthday, goals, sex, activity level, diet, allergies, plan length, and anything you write about your goals.
- Your scan results, including small copies of your face and body photos so you can track progress.
- Your improvement plan and checklist progress, and recipes you save.
We can't see this information. Deleting the app deletes it.
Information sent for AI analysis
VoltAI uses artificial intelligence to power its features. When you use one, your phone sends the information below to our server, which passes it to our AI provider and returns the result:
- Face and body scan: your face and body photos, plus your age, sex, activity level, goals, plan length, and goal description.
- Improvement plan: your profile details above, your diet and allergies, and a summary of your latest scan (scores and suggestions, not photos).
- Fridge AI: photos of your food, any items you type in, and your age, goals, diet, allergies, and latest scan priorities.
This information is used only to create your result. Our server does not save your photos or your results. Our server keeps limited technical logs (such as the time of a request, whether it succeeded, and how much processing it used) to keep the service working and secure; these logs don't contain your photos or answers.
Website waitlist
If you join the waitlist on our website, we store your email address, the date you joined, and how you found us (for example, from TikTok). We use your email only to tell you when VoltAI launches and for occasional launch news. We don't share it or sell it. To be removed, email us at the address below and we'll delete it. The app itself doesn't use your waitlist email.
Service providers
- Supabase hosts the server that handles AI requests and stores waitlist emails.
- Anthropic provides the AI (Claude) that analyzes photos and writes results. Anthropic processes this information on our behalf under its commercial terms, does not use it to train its models, and may keep it for a limited time for safety and abuse prevention, as described in Anthropic's privacy policy.
- Apple handles subscriptions and payments. We never see your payment details; we only learn whether your subscription is active.
These providers may log technical information such as IP addresses to operate and secure their services.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information.
- We don't use advertising, ad tracking, or third-party analytics.
- We don't use your photos to rate attractiveness, and we don't share them with anyone except to produce your results as described above.
Camera and photo access
VoltAI asks for camera access so you can take scan and fridge photos. When you choose photos from your library, VoltAI only receives the photos you pick.
Age
VoltAI is not intended for people under 18 years of age.
Your choices
- Delete individual scans in the app, or delete the app to remove everything stored on your phone.
- Ask us to remove your waitlist email anytime.
- Only use AI features when you're comfortable sending the photos and details they need.
- Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your iPhone's Settings.
Health information
VoltAI provides general wellness guidance and is not a medical service. Don't use it to diagnose or treat any condition.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
